River Diving and Salvage Inc. 2009

River Diving and Salvage, Inc. was founded in 1978  as a “hard hat” commercial diving and marine salvage business serving the inland waterways. Building a career in the diving industry based in St. Louis, Missouri has been quite challenging.  The St. Louis area in the 1980’s and 1990’s has seen the nation’s highest volume of river traffic and marine construction.

The growth of River Diving and Salvage, Inc. by serving primarily commercial towing, salvage, and marine construction clients during this period has provided River Diving and Salvage Inc. with an accelerated background of diving experience and techniques.  The “typical” diving conditions encountered by River Diving and Salvage, Inc., such as Mississippi River currents, ice or drift flow in a zero visibility environment is a worst case situation for most divers.  Throughout their history, they have conducted numerous underwater services to the highest set of Federal Safety requirements.
